OPC is very proud with its commissioning and successful start up. The existing polypropylene plant started production as scheduled on 17th. June 2001, where the process was very smooth with out any minor interruption of operation considering the international specifications of the products quality.

The moment of producing the first resin pellet was unforgettable moment after long hard work day and night for years of studies, construction, conflicts and finally successful commissioning and start up. The new born resin had a specific smell registered in mind and became a mile stone of OPC polypropylene Orientene resin.

After few weeks of production stability the technical supporting group sent to the local users monitoring performance of the products and collecting data to point out any minor defect in order to make the required fine tuning and satisfy clients requirements.

Parallel to the technical team performance OPC management succeeded to secure marketing, sales and consequently gained profits in very short time comparing to similar projects in petrochemicals field and satisfy 85% of the local market demand.

OPC members were playing the most delighted harmony to flag up OPC name over the local and international markets map in Asia, Africa and Europe and still success stories are going on.
